Robin Felicia Skinner, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2025, at the age of 63. She passed peacefully at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on December 29, 1961, in Hendersonville, Robin was the youngest of nine children born to Norman and Mabel Fry.

Robin found joy in life's simplest moments: a slow drive down a country road with the windows down, music playing, and the breeze on her face. She loved classic rock and expressed her creativity through art, enjoying drawing, painting, and working with chalks and pastels. Her artistic spirit reflected the beauty she saw in the world and in others.

Above all else, Robin loved her family. She was a devoted wife, a deeply loving mother, and a proud and doting grandmother. Her mischievous smile, gentle laughter, and unwavering positivity were gifts to everyone who knew her. Robin believed in meeting life with hope and grace, often saying, "When life gives me lemons, I make lemonade."

Raised on a farm among the apple orchards of Dana, Robin learned early the value of hard work and perseverance-a foundation that shaped the loving and resilient woman she became. She spent many years working as a machinist before completing her career as a Quality Control Inspector for BorgWarner-work she approached with pride and dedication.

Robin's faith was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life. She enjoyed attending Barker Heights Baptist Church and found peace in watching and listening to Charles Stanley.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Norman and Mabel Fry; her brothers, Jimmy Keeter and Ricky Keeter; and her sisters, Tammy Fry and Veronica Keeter.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 33 years, Gary Skinner, who affectionately called her his "Baby Girl." She also leaves behind her daughters, Chasity Conner and Tanya Conner Ramos (Julio); her son, Sinclair Skinner; and her precious grandsons, Armando Nesta Ramos and Lorenzo Zion Ramos, who were the light of her life.

Robin is also survived by her brother, David Keeter (Sylvia); her sisters, Mary Ann Rankin, Patsy Foxx, and Regina Benison (David); her aunts, Linda Hawkins and Shirley Levi; along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and will miss her always.

A celebration of Robin's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with Mr. Shannon Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Robin will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, surrounded by family.

Flowers are accepted and appreciated, or memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with her final expenses.

Robin Fry Skinner will be remembered for her kind heart, her strength, and the love she poured into those around her. Though she is no longer with us, her laughter, her spirit, and her love will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
