With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robin D. VanRiper, a beloved mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law, who passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, at the age of 70.
Robin was born on February 4, 1955, in Indiana. She later moved to Seneca Falls, New York, where she raised her family and spent much of her life surrounded by loved ones. In 2006, she relocated to Maryland to be closer to the beach-her favorite place in the world. The ocean brought her peace and joy, and it was there that she found her happiest moments.
Robin will be remembered for her sharp sense of humor, her passion for baking and sewing, and her unwavering love for her family. She found joy in the little things-freshly baked treats, handmade gifts, a good laugh, and time spent with those she loved most. She adored her grandsons, Tynan and Trey, had a special place in her heart for all her cherished "grand dogs" and had a special love for dragonflies and the color purple.
She is survived by her loving son, Bryan (Stephanie) VanRiper; her devoted daughter, Erin (Torlondo) Tucker; and her treasured grandsons, Tynan and Trey Tucker. In addition, she is survived by her brothers, Randal (Pamela) Keller and Jeffrey (Shari) Keller; her sister, Janet Keller; and many nieces and nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Virginia "Ginny" Keller, her father, Paris Napier, and Nala and Bailey, her cherished dogs who brought her years of unconditional love and companionship.
Robin's legacy is one of love, humor, and generosity. Her laughter, creativity, and devotion to family will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter or rescue, honoring Robin's love for animals and her generous spirit.
