Robyn Casson Erickson, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025. She was born on October 17, 1940 in Ridgewood, NJ, to Ralph and Geraldine Casson. She graduated from Ramapo High School, and was married to her husband, Paul for 67 years. She raised her family in Ho-Ho-Kus.
Robyn was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, homemaker, and businesswoman. She was a champion for children and adults with special needs. She served on the Bergen County Board of Special Services for many years, including as President. In honor of her many years of dedication to Special Services, a school was named after her in Millburn, NJ. The school served children with special needs. Robyn was also a successful real estate agent working for Coldwell Banker and Genesis Realtors. She also successfully owned and managed many income properties.
Robyn was an avid world traveler. She traveled with Tauck Tours through the US and Canada, including through Hawaii and the Canadian Rockies, and voyaged by cruise in the Caribbean, Scandinavia, and beyond. She was a snow bird for many years, wintering in Fort Myers Beach, Florida where she made long-lasting friendships. Above all, she loved spending time with family at her beach house in Chadwick Beach, NJ.
Robyn was predeceased by her sons, Paul "Rick" Erickson (2017) and Mark Erickson (2024).
She is survived by her beloved husband Paul Erickson; her loving daughter Laurie Semendinger and her husband Paul; cherished grandchildren Krista Erickson, Ryan Semendinger and his wife Tiffany, Brandon Erickson, Alex Semendinger and his wife Perri, Ethan Semendinger; and great-grandchildren Braylon Erickson, and James and Madison Semendinger.
Donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Robyn C. Erickson would be greatly appreciated.
