Harding Funeral Home, Inc. - SlatingtonRobyn Lynne Kershner, 73, of Slatington, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, in her residence. She was the beloved wife of Michael K. Kershner, of Slatington, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Shirley (Ruof) Crouthamel.
Robyn was a high school graduate who went on to attend the Philadelphia College of Bible. Rooted in the love of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she was a dedicated member of Faith Church in Allentown, where she shared her gift of song with the congregation as a soloist and part of the church choir. She dedicated much of her professional life to serving others as a dental assistant, working with several practices over the years.
Robyn was also known for her artistic talents from drawing, painting, sewing, and creating whimsical multi-media creations, to music, with her beautiful singing voice—She was an extraordinary creative force. Robyn’s quick wit and sense of humor always brought laughter to those around her. She was also known for baking the best pies with her homemade crust, especially her famous apple crumb that was loved by all. Above all, Robyn adored her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, Michael, she will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Jessica and husband Jeffrey Wickliffe of Lenexa, KS, Tara and husband Johnny Nieves of Emmaus, PA, and Johanna and husband Taw Wingfield II of Slatedale, PA; nine grandchildren: Jack, Henry, Maxwell, Jayce, Gianna, Gavin, Brayden, Ryan, and Kason; one great grandchild: Lucille; and sister, Dawn and husband Richard Osborn.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, November 21st at Faith Church, 6528 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA 18106. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service from 10-11am at the church.
