Rocco Paternoster

Rocco Paternoster, 86, of Fort Worth, passed away on September 28, 2025.He was born on August 9, 1939, in Tricarico, Italy, to Antonio and Rosa Paternoster.

A celebration of Rocco's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Bourland Cemetery in Keller. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rocco was a man of deep passions and strong values. He found joy in gardening, making wine, listening to Italian opera, and watching soccer. He loved to cook-especially homemade pasta-and was happiest when preparing meals for his family. Proud of his Italian heritage, Rocco embraced the traditions of his homeland and enjoyed working with his hands, particularly through masonry and building projects.

Family was at the center of Rocco's life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary Paternoster; his sons, Anthony "Tony" Paternoster and wife Julie, and Jamie Paternoster and wife Lisa; and his cherished grandson, Vincent Rocco Paternoster. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Anobile, and sister-in-law, Encarna Paternoster.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Rosa Paternoster; his brother, Frank Paternoster; and brother-in-law, Michael Anobile.

Rocco will be remembered for his love of family, his craftsmanship, and his unwavering pride in his heritage. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
