Rochelle Eileen Flannery

Rochelle Flannery, 60, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, in Greeley. She was born on September 27, 1964, in Greeley, to Fred & Charlotte (Klingenberg) Hamlet. In February of 1998, Rochelle & Mike Flannery (divorced) welcomed a long-awaited baby girl they named Zoe. Friends and family described Rochelle as a proud and loving mom, who "lit up" anytime she spoke of her daughter.
Many will remember how Rochelle as a wizard in the kitchen. She considered a recipe a jumping-off point. She often spoke fondly of her memories of cooking with Grandma K, her dad & mom, her cousins, and siblings in her early years. She spoke often of the joys of growing food through the spring & summer and canning it as fall approached. Shelly didn't hesitate to cook her favorite recipes from Grandma K whenever she needed comfort food. The Food Network was often playing live on the TV and there were dozens of TV recordings for later too. Shelly shared her generosity and provided service to her community and family through her cooking. Family favorites include her infamous peanut butter pie, sweet potato casserole, just about anything with green chiles, cheesy potatoes(funeral potatoes), and breakfast burritos.
Rochelle is survived by her partner, William Mcallister (since 2021); her daughter Zoe Glasen (Travis); sisters Beckie Bonnell (Tom) & Roxanne Coate (Jon); and a large loving extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles "Chuck" Hamlet, her nephew Chris Coate, and Mike Bunn (whom many believed to be her soul mate.)
A Private Family Celebration will be planned.
