She was born July 2, 1962 to Marco Tulio Giraldo and Teresa Ramirez in Columbia. She is preceded in death by, her parents Marco and Teresa; brothers Augusto Giraldo, Nestor Giraldo, Jorge Giraldo, Cesar Giraldo; sisters Martica Giraldo and Ruth Giraldo.
She is survived by her daughter Maria Puerta of Colorado Springs, Co; sons Cristian Puerta of Colorado Springs, CO, Mauricio Puerta of Colorado Springs, Co.; grandsons Abraham Gabriel Bonilla Puerta, Samuel Puerta, Jacob Puerta, Juan Puerta; granddaughter Samara Puerta; sisters Alba Giraldo Ramirez of Colorado Springs, CO, Teresa Giraldo Ramirez of Columbia, Gloria Giraldo Ramirez of Columbia, and brother Ruben Giraldo Ramirez.
Rico will be remembered for her love of shopping, traveling, and socializing.
