Mr. Roderick Trampass Gilbert

Mr. Roderick Trampass Gilbert, age 55, of Powder Springs passed away at his residence on October 24, 2023.
Trampass was born on February 7, 1968 in Atlanta, Georgia. Trampass loved hunting and the outdoors. He was employed as an electrician with IBEW Local 613.
Trampass is preceded in death by his beloved son, Gerald Trampass Gilbert and his brother, Robin Gilbert.
He is survived by his daughter, DeAnne Turner and her husband, Brad of Dallas; two grandchildren, Bristol Phelps and Brody Phelps also of Dallas; and his mother, Ms. Betty Barrett of Powder Springs. In addition, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial service for Trampass Gilbert will be held in the Chapel of Benson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 26 at 11 AM with Rev. Bill Sizemore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until the service begins at 11 AM.
The family has respectfully declined flowers. Rather, they are requesting in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Paulding County Recovery Center. Donations can be sent to the Paulding County Recover Center at 276 B Main Street Hiram, GA 30141.
