It is with great sadness, I share the loss of our beloved Rodger Evans Hart, who peacefully passed in the early afternoon of April 1st in San Angelo, Texas. He was the last living child of Berry and Arlene Hart of Van Horn, Texas. He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Regena Hart, and his precious baby girl, Brittany Ann Hart.He was a graduate of Van Horn High School, and Sul Ross State University. Rodger's life was a wonderul example of his dedication as a servant of the Lord, a third-generation rancher, his courageous service in the US Army, a loving husband, and his accomplished career as a real estate agent. He is survived by three loving nieces, Leann Lynch of Colorado, Kelsey Hart of Lipan, and Bre Hart of Austin.Uncle Rodger's life was marked by unwavering loyalty, unshakeable conviction, meticulous attention to detail, and an unyielding spirit. He wasn’t an overly outspoken man, but when he did speak, you listened with reverence.
True to his ranching heritage, he was always at home in a good pair of cowboy boots, and a proper hat. He so enjoyed classic western movies and sharing a meal at " Henry's" of San Angelo.
He was a great man, and we will miss him deeply. We find solace in knowing he's reunited with his loving bride Regena, and other cherished family members who left too soon.
1 John 4:12
