He was born in Ware County to Cameron Walter Barnard and Colleen Sills Barnard. He worked as a meat cutter for various grocery stores in the area including Walmart, Harvey's, and Piggly Wiggly. He was also a member of Hebardville Methodist Church.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Ann "Becky" Barnard.
He is survived by his two sons, Rocky Barnard (Tabitha) of Waycross and Caleb Barnard (Allison) of Salem, OR; four grandchildren, Emeri Barnard, Mason Barnard, Peytan Barnard, and Rylan Barnard; his mother, Colleen Sills Barnard of Waycross; three brothers, Wendell Barnard (Kim) of Waycross, Jerry Barnard of New York, NY, and Steve Barnard (Marie) of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday (September 15, 2025) at Hebardville Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Jordan Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at the church on Monday at 10 o'clock.
