Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Leo Fields, Jr. and grandparents Leo Fields, Sr. and Murleon Fields.
Rodney is survived by his wife Ethel Fields, mother Emma Fields, sister Shunta Fields, nephew Deonte Fields, great nephews Andrew and Fletcher Fields along with several aunts and uncles all of Fort Smith.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 21, 2024 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. A public viewing will be held from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Lewis Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith.
