Rodney Wayne Kinner, age 70, of Dushore, PA, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, May 5, 2025, at his home after a battle against cancer.
Rodney was born on August 17, 1954, in Towanda, PA, a son of the late William M. Kinner Jr. and Lila Irene “Sue” Johnson Kinner. He graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School, a member of the class of 1972.
He worked at Cargill for many years and also worked in construction.
Rodney was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, camping, and attending music festivals. He loved being surrounded by family and friends reminiscing.

Siblings:
Randy and Florence Kinner, Timothy and Sharon Kinner, Linda Porter, Darlene and Edward Newton, and Vicki and Monte Kellogg.
Rodney is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son Chad Kinner on November 22, 2017, and by infant grandchildren Aspen Marie Kinner and Tristen Kaleb. He was also predeceased by his brother Francis Kinner and sister Cheryl “Sherry” Adams and a step daughter Amanda L. Connell.
In accordance with Rodney’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Homer Funeral Home, PO Box 1, Dushore, PA 18614 to help offset final expenses.
