Rodney Joseph Robichaux, age 47, a native of Chauvin and resident of Bayou Blue, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Melinda Lachico Robichaux; his son, Dustin Robichaux (Adriana); his daughter, Melaina Robichaux; his grand-dog, Emmy; his parents, Rudolph and Isabelle Robichaux; his brothers, Ricky Robichaux (Janice) and Rudy Robichaux (Angelina); and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Rodney was preceded in passing by his Paran, Ernest Bourg.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation for Rodney on Monday, October 21, 2024, beginning at 10:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel. Immediately following the services, Rodney will be laid to rest in St. Francis Cemetery #2.
Rodney was a devoted father, husband, and friend. He loved to spend time with his family, going hunting and boiling crawfish for his family. His passion was attending services at Victory Life Church. Rodney enjoyed traveling, taking vacations, and making memories with his family. He was the best of the best, hardworking, thoughtful, and selfless. Rodney was always dedicated to his family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
