Roeun You

Roeun You, 78, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA.
He was married to the late Pheap Dy who died December 20, 2019.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia he was the son of the late Ruy and San You.
While living in Cambodia, Roeun was a rice farmer.
Roeun came to the United Sates in August of 1985 and became a U.S. citizen in 2014.
He was a high school graduate and a long-time resident of Lowell.
He was a member of The Elliot Presbyterian Church in Lowell, MA.
He enjoyed gardening, fixing cars, working on home electronics but most of all he loved to spend time with his family.
Roeun is survived by his sons, Reth and his wife Sarin You of Lowell; Run You of Lowell; Roth You and his wife Chana Phann of Middletown, CT; Penh and his wife Sophea You of Lowell, MA; his daughters Saron You and her husband Sambath Sous of Stockton, CA; Rosa You and her husband Sophat Le of Lowell; Reap You and her husband Kry Neang of Lowell; and Samnang You and her husband Christopher Phay of Lowell, MA. He also leaves behind one brother, three sisters along with 40 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
