Roger Lee Brawley, 55, of Martinsville, passed away at 12:24 am on Friday, August 5, 2022, at The Waters of Martinsville. He was born on June 25, 1967, in Martinsville to the late Roy Ronald Brawley and the late Sherial Louise (Plummer) Brawley.
He graduated from Fannin County High School in Blueridge, Georgia with the class of 1985. He served in The United States Army. He worked as a paint and bodywork specialist for Artesian Paint and Body. In 2010, he had to stop working due to a stroke and other health concerns.
He was a member of American Legion. He enjoyed bowling and was a natural athlete when he was younger. He was good at nearly every sport he tried, and he played football and baseball in middle school.
Roger leaves behind his loving family including his sons, Dallas Michael Brawley of Martinsville, Brandon Lee Brawley of Mooresville, and Roger Lee "RJ" Brawley of Mooresville; brother, John Brawley of Martinsville; sisters, Sandy (husband, Gary) Bolin of Martinsville and Chrisie (husband, Justin) Collier of Martinsville; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Sherial; sister, Rhonda Brawley; and brother, Roy Ronald Jr.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Roger's earthly remains have been cremated. Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
