Roger Jon Brix, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Littleton, CO.
Roger was born on May 28th, 1951, to Robert and Evelyn Brix in Council Bluffs, Iowa. After high school, Roger served four years in the Air Force as a Sergeant, specializing as an aircraft technician, then was honorably discharged. He worked as a network technician/lineman for US West for 32 years. Roger was the proud father of his son Jesse Brix, and grandfather to Clayton Brix, both of whom he cherished deeply. Roger, lovingly known as "Pop Pop", adored Clayton and every moment of being his grandfather.
Roger enjoyed being outdoors and relished the simple life. He was an honest man who was always there for his friends and family when they needed him. To know him was to love his unique style and amazing sense of humor.
Preceded in death by ex-wife Linda, Roger is survived by his son Jesse, grandson Clayton, brother Chuck, sister Dolores, two stepsons Jake and Dustin and his nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather to honor Roger's memory at a ceremony at Fort Logan National Cemetery on September 27th, 2024, at 12:30 PM.
Roger's life may have ended here, but the memories and joy he brought to those around him will always remain.
Rest in peace, Roger Jon Brix. You will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Even though we met Roger just recently , we got to appreciate Rodger's kindness, and his presence. We both felt like we knew him for many years. My son loved to go and sit with him and just talk about life. We will miss him dearly, we saw each other several times a day while walking my dog. I still can hear his voice and still see him in my mind when we said our last goodbye.
Much love to you Roger, you will remain in our hearts!!
May God give Jessie the strength to keep on going without him.

Roger and I were friends from high school days. We were able to connect with each other the past recent years. He was there for me during difficult times and I hope I helped him. There´s too many special memories to pick just one because they were all special.
Roger was his own man and he never compromised his integrity.
He will be missed by all who loved him and that includes me too.

Although Charlie ( my poodle) and I only knew Roger for a few months at our building Charlie just loved, loved, loved Roger and the daily tummy rubs he got from Roger on our walks. Roger was a kind salt of the earth kind of man and he is greatly missed! Rest in peace Roger! Nancy and Charlie Engelhardt
