Roger L. Camerlin

Roger Lee Camerlin, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at his home. He was 74 years of age. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Herve A. and Antonette (Beaulieu) Camerlin. Roger was the devoted father of Brian Camerlin (wife, Erin), Melissa Camerlin and Donald Camerlin; cherished Pepe of Seth, Mia and Brian Camerlin, Peter Guest III, Carter Camerlin and Mackenzie and great-grandfather of KJ Correia. He was the brother of Dennis Camerlin, Donald Camerlin and the late Herve Camerlin.
Roger spent most of his adult life in the restaurant business, whether it be the owner of the Barrington Family Restaurant or the longtime manager of Olneyville New York System on Reservoir Ave in Cranston. He loved to talk and always started one of his stories with, 'I remember when '. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. He had a great sense of humor, loved to make everyone laugh and was always quick with a joke. Above all else, he loved spending time with family and his 'Grandpup' Molly.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 2-4pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. His burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
