Roger Dale Crawford

Cumberland, MD – Roger Dale Crawford, 74, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at his home.

Born April 4, 1951, in Cumberland, MD, Roger was the son of the late Ivan Crawford and Pearl (Hinkle) Crawford. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Gloria, in 2008; his sister: Rita Wigfrield; and his sister-in-law: Sheila Crawford.

Roger retired from the Army National Guard, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Roger is survived by his children: Jennifer Goddard, John Crawford and wife, Mandi; Eric Crawford, and Adam Crawford; his grandchildren: Gavin Newmeyr, Bryce Newmeyr, Gabriel Newmeyr, Holden and Camden Crawford; and his siblings: Richard Crawford, Wayne Crawford and wife, Judy; Connie Turner and husband, Ronnie; Johnnie Crawford, and Terry Crawford; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. , with Speaker Tony Nagle officiating. Friends will also be received one hour prior.

Interment will be in Maryland Veteran's Cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post #13 Veteran's Honor Guard.
