Roger Alan Crosby, 89, of Springfield, Missouri, passed from this life April 8, 2025. He was born December 1, 1935, in Wichita, Kansas, to Walter and Reola Crosby.
Roger met the love of his life, Patricia Teer, and they married in 1957, and moved to Southern California soon after. The couple were blessed with three sons. Roger worked in the aerospace industry until he retired in 1995. After retirement, the couple moved to Arizona, ultimately moving to Springfield, Missouri, in 2007. Roger and Pat were members of Wesley United Methodist Church in Springfield. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially wood carving.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents; three sons, James, Stephen, and Ronald; a brother, Eugene Crosby; sisters, Virginia Karns and Patricia Hilton. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; five grandchildren, Rachel, Tami, Nicholas, Christopher, Michael; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn St., in Springfield, with Pastor Gary Griffin officiating.
