DOWD, Roger David Of Westwood, formerly of Dedham, passed away on October 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Carolyn M. (Barry) Dowd. Devoted father of Patricia Ann Dowd and her husband Paul Connearney of Franklin, Roger David Dowd and his wife Regan Dowd of Natick, and Jill Nelson Dowd and her husband David Nelson of Melrose. Loving grandfather of Suzanne Carolyn, Max Edward, Alec Roger, and the late John Buckley Dowd. Great-grandfather of Morgan Angelie. Roger was a graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S., in Engineering as well as an MBA. Roger served his country in the U.S. Army. He was the founding father and President of Dynatron Corp. Visiting Hours will be held at the George. F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Dedham, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
