Roger J. Fauvel, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Boston, MA.
He was the beloved husband of Mary St. Onge, who celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on May 1st.
Born and raised in Lowell on June 16th, 1947. Roger was the son of the late Eugene R. Fauvel and Jeanne D'Arc (Comtois) Fauvel. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Further continuing his education at the Peterson's School of Engineering.
Roger spent his career as a first-class engineer finishing with 12 years at Lowell General Hospital, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Roger also served as the president of the National Association of Engineers.
A devoted member of St. Jean Baptiste Church, Roger was also a passionate car enthusiast who took great joy in all things automotive and snow plowing his lawn. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family-especially his beloved grandson, Derek, who was the light of his life.
In addition to his wife, Mary, Roger is survived by his son, Joe Fauvel of Florida; his daughter, Danielle Ralls, and her husband David of North Chelmsford, MA; his sister, Claire Marcotte of Tyngsboro, MA; his cherished grandson, Derek; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Fauvel, and his sisters-in-law, Joanne St. Onge and Patricia Henderson.
Roger will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donations greatly appreciated, in his name, to a charity of one's choice.
