of Lowell, MA

Barbara T. Geoffroy, 81, of Lowell, MA died Wednesday evening, August 27, 2025 at Regal Care of Lowell.

She was married to the late James Geoffroy who died July 28, 2001.

Barbara was born in Lowell, MA, and was the daughter of the late Roland Cormier and Madeline Cormier.

She graduated from Lowell High School with e Class of 1962.

Barbara retired as an office manager at Therafit after twenty plus years. Previously, she worked in the Lowell Public Schools as a teacher's assistant.

She was a communicant of St Margaret of Scotland Parish in Lowell, MA.

Barbara enjoyed being a home owner, her house is her pride and joy. She loved working in her flower garden in the spring and summer, and enjoyed crafts. Above all she cherished the time she got to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, David and his wife, Sherri Geoffroy of Lowell, MA, her daughter, Robin Geoffroy and her companion, Thomas Lefebvre also of Lowell, three sisters-in-law, Colleen Cormier, Barbara Cormier and Deborah Geoffroy, her close friend, Patricia Brady, her beautiful grandchildren, Jarod Geoffroy and Connor Geoffroy many nieces and nephews as well as several close friends. Also lifelong friends Jim Perry of Dracut, and Bill and Lois McCabe of Lowell.

She was the sister of the late Raymond Cormier, Dennis Cormier and Constance Skinner.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Barbara's visiting hours will be Tues., Sept. 2, 2025 from 9 to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA. Memorials may be made in her name to a charity of one's choice. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041. Guestbook at www.dolanfuneralhome.com
