STOW - Roger R. Flanagan, 70, of Stow, died October 28, 2025, from cancer.
He was born and raised in Cleveland and Solon. He retired from Earl M. Jorgensen Steel. Roger served the communities and took pride in being a Police Reserve Officer in Stow and then Munroe Falls. Roger was an avid fan of the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers and celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with enthusiasm. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his sons and good friends and was especially grateful for the last fishing trip with his sons in June.
Family was Roger’s greatest joy. He held a special place in his heart for the grandchildren and loved hosting family meals and events and taking family vacations to the east coast.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Laura, and sister, Amy Ralston. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Flanagan; sons, Kevin (Sarah) and Tim (Margaret); grandchildren, Brynna, Conor, Colin, and Max, as well as his beloved dog, Bridie.
