An inurnment service for Roger Franklin Fry, 73, of Arlington, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 05, 2021, at Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne. The Reverend Charles Payne will officiate.

Roger Franklin Fry passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Arlington. He was born on March 10, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois to John Franklin and Priscilla Theresa (Leuallen) Fry. He was a recruiting/operations manager in the aerospace industry. He was outgoing and had a larger-than-life personality. Roger came from a family of Railroaders, which led to his love of trains, which he collected. He loved to visit with everyone, no matter where he was. He was an animal lover, always taking in those in need. Roger was active in many things and especially loved Halloween; but Paleontology was his great love. He logged countless hours in digs at the Arlington Archosaur site and on the Puluxy River, which led to travels abroad.

Roger is survived by his children, Roger Fry II and wife, Elizabeth and Susan Cherry and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Heather Hollis and husband, Randy, and Jon Drake Fry; brother, John Robert Fry and wife, Debra; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
