Born on November 23, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Vincent and Marie (Blum) Jankowski.
Roger was in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He will be remembered as a man who was always giving, especially for those in need. He was a simple person and after being raised with his brothers in foster care, he always wanted to help others in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Cynthia Jankowski, brothers, Ronnie Jankowski, Richard Jankowski, Gary Jankowski, Vince Jankowski.
He is survived by his son, Arthur Jankowski, grandson, Wade, 8 nieces and nephews.

I know Roger because Roger and my brother, John Jankiewicz, were lifelong friends. My brother passed away in the spring of 2021. I spoke with Roger by phone after my brother's passing. He often sent me prayer cards and encouraged me to "hang in there". I will miss our conversations and his encouragement. I know that Roger and John are in God's hands now, and I will think of them together in my thoughts. Rest in peace, Roger.

I know Roger was a good friend of my brother, John Jankiewicz. John passed away in the spring of 2021. I conversed with Roger by phone after John passed, and I am sorry to hear Roger has passed away. Roger was a good support for me, often sending prayers and kind thoughts. I will now think of Roger and John safely in the hands of God. Your suffering is over.
