Roger Dale Laffoon, Jr., 52, of Goodland passed away in his home Monday, November 4, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Roger was born October 17, 1972 to Laura and Roger Laffoon. Sr.
He was loved by many and leaves behind many friends and loved ones. He was born in Indianapolis, IN, but lived most of his Life in Goodland In. He loved this town and the people in it. Roger loved music, Elvis Presley, Kevin Harvick and the Green Bay Packers.
Roger is preceded in death by his mother, sister, Roddale Laffoon, grandson, Landon Lovely and sister, Barbara Gonczy.
Roger leaves to mourn his passing his children, Lisa (Cody) Anderson, Kendra Lovely, Joey Laffoon, Brooklynn Carter, siblings, Bob and Donald Gonczy, grandchildren (he was Papaw to his Grandbabies and loved them very much), Presley Anderson, Kali Cornwell, Hadlee Anderson and one granddaughter on the way. While divorced twice, he stayed close with his ex-wive's and we would have large extended family events with all the parents’, siblings from both sides and grandchildren (even extended grandchildren became his own as their papaw. First wife, Stephanie Edison and her children Michelle Moore ( Zayden and Zoella) and Robert Lippman, second wife, Rhonda Webb . Also, a former fiancé, Amy Schneidt, all of whom remained a large part of his short life.
