Roger Phelps Obituary
The Bowling Green native was born December 8, 1965 to the late Jim W. "Jay" Phelps and Linda Sue Taylor Phelps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Ray Phelps.
Roger was an avid sports fan and University of Kentucky fan. He was a beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend that will be missed by all.
His memories will be cherished by his siblings, Brian Phelps (Amy) and Tammy Phelps-Haynes; a sister-in-law, Vanessa Phelps; nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Josh, Justin, Emily, Matthew, Jacob, and Travis; a special aunt, Joyce Cooper (Ronnie), Ruth Young (Bill); and a special cousin, Angela Stockton (Greg); and his beloved cats, Cassie and Jazzie.
Roger's funeral service will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, April 12 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and resume Thursday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
