Heaven has truly gained an angel. I can't believe he is gone. He brought so much joy to so many kids especially this kid at heart. There's not a Gulf Power Christmas party that I can recall that he wasn't there transformed into Santa. His infectious laugh and smile and warm bear hugs are what I will miss most. Mr. Roger will most certainly be missed. R.I.P.

There's no way to put into words of how turn to pieces I am. Uncle Roger you were a true example of how to treat people. I miss you terribly. Getting ready to go say goodbye is the worst feeling... I can't wait to see you again! To my favorite Aunt Gayle, never lose your smile. I love you both.

For my Brother-in-law, my Brother in Christ and my Brother in-arms. I have but one regret, that we were unable to spend more time together! Now you have found the Rest and Peace that so many long for. there is but one thing for those who knew and loved you to do! Press on with Courage and Strength as you did, until the day we too can find rest forever more.

Roger was Santa at my mother's birthday party for years. He and Mrs. Santa (his wife ,Gayle) were a big hit with the kids and adults year after year. All of our family are so grateful to them for bringing joy to our celebrations. We met them through the Milton Holiday Fair. Gayle and Roger's mother, Ms. Tommie rented the booth right across from my mother's booth every year for years. They all were such good folks and we love them. Roger will truly be missed. May God bless Gayle, Ms. Tommie and the family with peace and strengrh at this sad time. Sincerely, Ann & Mike Fissel (Milton, FL)

What wonderful memories we have of Roger! He was such a great Santa and a wonderful, gentle man. Roger will be sorely missed by so many in the Milton/Pace community. Gail, Tommie and family, I know you are so proud of the legacy that Roger leaves through the investments he made in the lives of children in foster care, children (and adults) who got a personal visit with Santa, his family and this community. I am so glad for you that one day you will see him again but sad that you have to go through the pain of losing him now. Please know that Dean and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers!

Dad
It's only been two days since you left us, it doesn't feel real. I miss you terribly but I know you will drop in from time to time to check on us and on Mom. I will miss our talks, our golfing trips, and yes even our not so good talks when you were upset. Thank you for always being there for me and buddy whether it was you giving us advice, lending a calm ear that we could talk to, or giving a shoulder to cry on. Most of all thank you for showing us how to be a Father. I have learned so much from watching you and Mom all these years thank you for everything you have done. I Love You & Miss you till I see you again. Spread all that cheer in heaven like you did here on earth. Tell papa hello for me. I'll see you on the other side.

Love Always,
Jonathan
