On Saturday, July 16, 2022, Roger Lynn Renfrow, loving father of three and grandfather of four, passed away at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, after a short battle with cancer at age 64.Roger was born on January 2, 1958, in Canton, MS to Gwendolyn and Melvin Renfrow. Roger was raised in Ludlow, Ms. He graduated from Pisgah High School, class of 1976.
Roger was a retired brick mason, after retirement he spent his time tending to his garden, fishing, and doing woodworking as a hobby. He enjoyed cooking for his family and was known for his infectious personality and kind heart.
Roger was proceeded in death by both sets of his grandparents, Jim and Pearl Renfrow, George and Molly Wiltcher, his father, Melvin, his mother, Gwen and brother, Mike Renfrow. He is survived by his three children, Corey Renfrow, (spouse Tashyanna), and their children, Cooper, Fisher, Korbin and Kylee Cleary Fitzhugh (spouse AJ), Amy Renfrow, sister Gail Kay, (spouse Ben), brother, John Renfrow, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, their children and several cousins.
Visitation will be 5:00pm To 7:00pm Sunday July 17, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS' and on Monday from 10:00am to 11:00am, with a Funeral Service at 11:00am in the Chapel.
Burial will be in Allen Chapel Cemetery.
