Roger Dale Rike
75, of Mooresville passed away on November 10, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family. Roger was born on December 24, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Charles and Dorothy (Mann) Rike.
Roger was a graduate of Martinsville High School in 1968. Following high school, Roger proudly served in the Indiana Army National Guard from 1968-1972. He worked in shipping and receiving at Automotive Armature for 17 years, before working in construction until his retirement. Skilled with his hands, he enjoyed working on cars, building things, cheering on his Indianapolis Colts, watching Gunsmoke, Bonanza and the X-Files. However, his greatest joy was playing with his grandkids. He will be remembered as a gentle, loving, determined, fair, hardworking man who was always there for his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Debra (Poore) Rike.
He is survived by his children Tamara Conly, Robin Davis, Carrie Cochran, Robert Rike; siblings David Rike, Garry Rike, Darlene Zinn; grandchildren Taylor Rike, Alec Conly, Caleb Rike, Ty Conly, Trey Henry, James Hicks, Dale Cochran, Annalyn Cochran, Brendan Rike, Breanna Rike, Cotie Rike; great grandchildren Karter Groves, Kiah Conly, Bennie Rike, August Cochran, Kinsley Conly, Carson Conly, Evelyn Kempf, Aerik Rike, and Chloe Rike.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Roger's life on Sunday, November 16th from 2-4pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with services beginning at 4:00pm Sunday in the funeral home. Following his wishes, he will be cremated following the services.
