. Roger Dean Shifflet, age 68, of Roosevelt, passed away January 11, 2025 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
Roger was born May 4, 1956 in Provo, Utah to Coleman Robert and Ardithe Nadine Clinton Shifflet.
He married Deborah Ann Clough, she passed away July 27, 2023.
As a young man Roger helped on the family farm and with herding sheep. He had a fun personality, he always had a joke to tell and visiting was one of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed watching TV, especially old western movies and shows. He loved spending time with his family and delighted in his grandchildren. He liked working in the yard and fishing in his younger years.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his nurse Julie at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his children, Carson (Annel Garcia) Shifflet, Dereck (Carolyn) Shifflet, Ashley (Trevor Mason) Shifflet, Brandy (Cache Lamb) Shifflet, 10 grandchildren, and his siblings, Ron Basham, Dianna Hadlock, Pam (Monte) Boone, and Cody (Beverly) Shifflet.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. A viewing will be held that morning from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
