Roger Percy Walker

Roger, age 69, passed away at his home in Watson, Louisiana on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired as a First Sergeant after 22 years of dedication. Notably, he was a 1st Iraqi War Veteran and served as a Combat Medic with the 101st Airborne Division. After his retirement in the Army, he went on to become a Car Salesman in Tacoma, Washington. Throughout the years, he enjoyed collecting sports cards and memorabilia with his sons, watching the Chicago Cubs play, and online shopping on Temu. Above all, Roger was a true family man who loved his wife and children more than anything in the world. He will be forever missed.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 50 wonderful years, Faith Walker; sons, Donovan Walker and Jeremy Walker (Shanna); daughter, Brandie Walker; grandchildren, Savannah Walker and Jasper Walker; sister, JoAnne Reid (Robert); and fur-baby, Skie.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Lillie Austin Walker and Roy E. Walker Sr.; and 7 siblings.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home 7738 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m.
