Roger Lee Wehmeyer, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Judith Wehmeyer; cherished son of the late Eleanor and Frank Wehmeyer, Sr. Devoted father of Emily Jean Wehmeyer and Jessica (Cody) Duffey; loving grandfather of Trent and Finley; dear brother of Marilyn Perkins, Christine (Larry) Ford, Michele Kaspari; brother-in-law of Ginny (Siegfried) Stief; special uncle to Rachel Schuler; loving uncle to many other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sisters, Joanne McCarthy and Barbara Garde; and brother, Frank Wehmeyer, Jr.
Roger proudly served in the United States Army as part of an artillery unit stationed in Germany. A graduate of Francis Howell Union High School, he took great pride in his work and passions. He found joy in spending time at his farm and the casino and had a natural talent for building, excelling as a skilled carpenter. Never one to sit still, he was always busy with a project or on the move, often traveling to new places. A dedicated union member, Roger was known for his kindness, generosity, and deeply charitable spirit. He was also a loving father of many dogs (not cats, he didn't like cats). Roger was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
