Roland Naquin Obituary
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LLC, West Park, from 9:30am until military honors starting at 11:30am. The burial will follow at Bayou Black Cemetery.
He is survived by his three daughters, Gwen Loga (Darrell), Sybil Rice (Greg), and Francine Miller (Jeff); son, Rene Naquin (Janet); companion of 8 years, Evelyn Lirette; stepfather to the Gilhangs and the Serigney children; followed by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his late wife Marcelet Creppell, late wife, Genet Phillips Naquin; late wife Merril Naquin; parents, Dema Naquin and Julie Hotard Naquin; son, Dema Naquin; brothers, Clifford Naquin and Junior Naquin; sister, Wilma St. Pierre; and two grandsons, Logan Naquin and Aaron Russell Williams.
Roland was a beloved husband, father, friend, and a proud Veteran as he served in the United States Army. He owned multiple businesses as he was a diesel mechanic and a chef of several restaurants. He loved music and dancing. Roland would go anywhere to hear his friends Vin Bruce and Don Rich play music.He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
