Thomas Kortz Obituary
Thomas proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1979 to 1993, achieving the rank of E5. He was also a proud Devil Dog ("woof woof"). His military career took him to various parts of the world, including his tour in Desert Shield/Storm where he earned numerous commendations for his bravery and leadership. His community to his country was unwavering.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his godchild, Lillian; and his military family and close friends, Celina Hebert (Jimmy) and Luanna Plaisance (Tyler).
A memorial service to honor Thomas's life and service will be announced and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marine Corp League Det. 475 in Thomas's name and memory.
