Rolando Decos, Loving Son, Father and Brother, passed away from cancer in the comfort of his home on October 20th, 2022, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his mother, Maria Decos; daughter, Angelica Tikalsky; siblings: Elizabeth Morgan and Miguel Decos; as well as many extensive family members and countless friends.
Rolando was a man of many talents, who had so much love for his family and friends. He worked several years driving a semi-truck for US Express, where he was recognized for going above and beyond in his delivery drops. He had a funny and energetic approach towards people, which formed beautiful friendships throughout his life's journey. He was known for making people laugh with all his funny impersonations of certain 'In Living Color' cast members, like Hey Mon and Fire Marshall Bill. He was extremely talented when it came to working on his various hobbies, like restoring a go cart for his nephew, and making his motorcycle the next best thing. But Rolando's most honorable role was his great relationship with his daughter, Angelica. He enjoyed their times together and formed a beautiful bond, he only wished they could've had more time together.
Rolando will also be remembered as a loving stand in father to his nephews, Jonathan and Joshua, who unfortunately lost their dad just 4 years ago. They take countless memories with them, and they learned many valuable life lessons from such an amazing uncle.
Rolando will always be remembered as a true Hero and Colon Cancer Warrior for the courageous battle he endured, and HE will be incredibly missed, but his legacy lives on through the strength that he taught us how to obtain, and the many lives he touched, especially his family.

I 1st remember meeting Rolando on the basketball court in Merrillville In. ... We were on opposite teams... But somehow we seemed to form a great friendship that i always valued an cherished ... Maybe its cause he was Libra and im a Gemini.... But he always made me laugh every time we were together ... Through the time i knew him we would go to the Puerto Rican Parade an Fest in E.C. an just hang out with many other friends... He was one of my best friends in life ... Miss him dearly .. But i know hes waiting in Heaven on one of the many basketball courts for me ... - Tootie Aguilera
