Roman Wojcik, a cherished husband, father, and uncle, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Lombard, IL, due to heart failure. Born on January 1, 1944, in Poland, Roman immigrated to the United States, where he established deep roots and a loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Chestina, his proud sons, Jerry and Bogie,
granddaughter Alexa and his beloved nieces, Bogumila Czaplinski and Regina Stopa.
Roman, who was affectionately known by all who loved him simply as Roman, was a man of profound faith and wisdom. His life was a testament to the virtues of love, hard work, and dedication to family. Roman completed his education at high school, after which he channeled his passion for mechanics into a successful career. He was the proud owner of a machine shop, where his craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit flourished. Roman was not only respected for his professional acumen but also for his integrity and kindness.
Throughout his life, Roman was an active member of the Catholic community. His faith was an integral part of who he was, and it guided him in his daily life.
