Ronald (Ronnie) M. Allen, 75, of Naylor, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Clinch County, GA on February 3, 1938 to the late Brooks and Flonnie Stone Allen. Mr. Allen owned and operated Lake Glass Company in Leesburg, FL, served in the National Guard and attended Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church. After retiring to Georgia he operated Southern Shutters of Stockton, GA. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Elks Club. Mr. Allen is survived by his son, Ronald Ryan Allen of Winter Springs, FL, his sister and brother in law, Linda and Glenn Parrott of Quitman, his brother and sister in law, Randy and Sherry Allen of Pavo, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Voncile Carter and Conneal (Tootsie) Grant. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2013 at two p. m. at Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dwight Marshall and Elder Lynwood Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Wayfare Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 12:30 until 2 p. m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Linda Parrott, 208 North Quincy Street, Quitman, GA 31643. Dear Ryan, Linda & Randy, It is with deep sorrow that we hear of the passing of our beloved special cousin and best friend. Roland was like a brother to us.
