The Life and Legacy of Brother Ronald Henry Anderson
Ronald Henry Anderson was born on April 2, 1958 to the late Charles and Janie Anderson of Midway, Georgia.
"May the Work I've Done Speak for Me"
At an early age, Ronald accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Ronald was baptized under the leadership of Rev. Robert Brown and joined Palmyra Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully in various capacities of the church to include singing in the choir. Ronald loved to sing and he had an angelic voice. Ronald was educated in the Liberty County School System and he graduated from Bradwell Institute in 1976. Ronald worked for the Liberty County Jail as a jailor for many years. Ronald also worked for Dunham Farms in Midway Georgia for many years. A very positive and caring man, Ronald loved his family and friends. He loved cooking, baking and was famous for his delicious red velvet cake. Ronald loved to read his Bible and watch old movies. Even when his health began to fail Ronald never lost his faith.
"Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (I Corinthians 15: 51-52)
Ronald answered the call of our Heavenly Father on April 9, 2023 : "Well done, thy good and faithful servant, you've been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Janie Anderson; his maternal grandparents Sam and Mariah Harris; his paternal grandparents Benjamin and Elnora Anderson and his brothers David and Hercules Anderson.
