AUGER, Ronald Lawrence – of Davison, MI, age 54, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 5151 Lennon Rd., Flint, MI 48507; Rev. Kate Morrison officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 10 AM Wednesday at the church until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of one's choice, in Ronald's memory.
Ron was born in Flint, MI on September 30, 1969, son of Sharon (Perry) and the late Jerome Auger. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1987 and the U of M Flint in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical Engineering. Ron was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. He was employed by Sine System, Tyco Electronics and Lapeer County Educational and Technology Center. Ron enjoyed all board games, super heroes with his kids, sci-fi movies and jokes.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Emma Auger and son, Evan Auger; mother, Sharon Auger; 3 siblings, Jerome R. (Kathleen) Auger Jr., Bethany (Guy) Hissong and Russell (Juliann) Auger; many special nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Lapeer McLaren staff, his caregivers, especially Danielle Layman, Kegan August; his nurses, Barb Gagnon, Julie Barber, Julie Roper and the staff at the Valley Area Agency on Aging; best friends, Chris (Kelly) Olson Jr, and Kenny (Colleen) Minto and Bill Snyder; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Auger and niece, Melissa Hissong.
