Ronald D. Berg, age 63 of Minooka, IL passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on June 22, 1962 in Morris, IL, the son of William and Norma (Erickson) Berg.

On October 21, 1985, Ron married the love of his life, Tamara Schomer and together they spent 40 wonderful year. Ron had a deep appreciation for travel, and he especially loved the time he and Tammy spent at their Arizona home during the fall and winter months. No matter where his travels took him, he always made sure to return to his IL family home/farm where he grew up and raised his son, Cameron. He cherished the time he spent with his family and grandson Mack, who were the center of his world.

A devoted sports enthusiast, Ron enjoyed all athletic competitions, including the Olympics. He was a loyal supporter of his Chicago Teams and took great joy in watching and attending University of Michigan Football and Basketball games.

Ron devoted more than 40 years to the Healthcare Industry, where built lasting friendships, and earned the respect of his fellow colleagues.

Above all, Ron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His warmth and humor will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Ron is survived by his wife, Tammy Berg of Minooka, IL; his son, Cameron (Tairen) Berg of Yorkville, IL; and his beloved grandson, Mack Berg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Norma Berg; his brother, Brian Berg: and his father in-law John Schomer.
