LEXINGTON- Ronald John Bieniek, age 83, of Lexington, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Blue Water Hospice House after a long illness.
He was born on November 10, 1941 in Yale, a son of the late John and Pearl (Brunning) Bieniek.
Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Army while stationed in Germany from 1960-1962. Ron was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324 for over 36 years. He had a love of animals, including his 2 horses and 4 dogs. Ron was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Lexington for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Bieniek, his children, Kellie (Michael) LePard, Kenneth (Jennifer) Bieniek, Karen (Raymond) Allston and Marc Wruble; he is also survived by grandchildren, Kagney (David) Bieniek, Amanda (Tim) Vasquez, Derek (Kait) Moore, Jessica (Richard) Bailey, Taylor (Gary) Williams and Meadow Smith; his sisters, Valeria Bieniek and Rosemary (Larry) Borbolla.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents John and Pearl Bieniek and his eldest daughter, Kimberly (Chris) Smith.
Per his wishes there will be no calling hours, but a Celebration of Life will take place at St. Matthew Lutheran Church at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 7155 Huron Ave. Lexington, Mi. 48450.
