It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Ronald Lee Brett, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on March 19th, 2025, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on October 6th, 1955, he lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. Ron is survived by his Beloved wife Dorothy Ann (nee Fitzgerald), Three loving daughters Allison Brett (Charles Stone Jr.), Amanda Bradley (Timothy) and Alexis Brett, his dear granddaughter Sophia Leigh Stone and his sister Linda Snyder (Robert). Also surviving are many brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews and his stepmother Patricia Brett. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and June Brett. Ron, a Roslyn native known for his basketball talent, was a standout athlete at Bishop McDevitt High School and Susquehanna University. He continued his love for sports as an avid sports talk radio caller, known as "Jabbo from Horsham". Jabbo was the ultimate Philly sports fan but Ron's greatest joy in life was his family: his wife, his three daughters, and his beloved granddaughter, who arrived in 2024 - becoming his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment with her. His outgoing nature, loud personality, and caring heart made him the rock of the family, and his loyalty and willingness to do anything for anyone will never be forgotten. In his professional life, Ron enjoyed a successful and rewarding career in beverage sales. For more than 25 years, he thrived as a sales associate with Anheuser-Busch, earning a stellar reputation for his hard work, determination, and genuine care for his customers. After retiring from his career in beverage sales, Ron discovered a new passion as a school bus driver. It was in this role that he truly found his calling, where his outgoing personality and nurturing spirit shined brightly. Ron will be remembered for his vibrant personality, his selflessness, and the immense love he shared with those around him Relatives and friends are invited to share in Ron's Life Celebration Visitation, Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Freed-Givnish of Glenside, 124 N Easton Rd., Glenside, PA 19038 and Tuesday morning at St. Catherine of Siena, 321 Witmer Rd., Horsham, PA 19044 from 10:00 – 11:45 followed by his funeral mass 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ron's memory to the Breathing Room https://breathingroomfoundation.org/donate/ would be appreciated by Ron's family.
