Ronald Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stewart Family Funeral Home - Tyler on Jan. 28, 2026.
Ronald Murray Clark of Noonday, TX passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Ron was born in Tyler, TX on May 21, 1943, to Roy Anderson and Lorna Jean Clark. After finishing school in Tyler, he joined Pan American Oil in 1962. His career continued with Amoco/BP, both in Houston and in Tulsa, where he met and fell in love with a colleague's daughter, Linda. Soon after, they united their hearts in matrimony and their families in love. Ron and Linda retired in 1999 and built their dream house in Tyler not far down the country road where he was raised.

Ron is preceded in death by his wife, Linda, and his eldest son, Jeffery Craig Clark. He is survived by his sisters Nancy Wickham and Sarah Clark (both of Tyler, TX); five children and stepchildren, Becky McCue (Tyler, TX), Randy Clark (Katy, TX), Tracy Heilaman (Red River, NM), Sean Cornish (Round Rock, TX), and Michelle Steadman (Tomball, TX); plus 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Ron had a variety of interests throughout his 82 years in this life. He coached youth soccer for his sons' teams, participated in a bowling league for many years, and always enjoyed a friendly game of Texas Hold 'Em. He did not often pass up an opportunity to sing karaoke, and he and Linda particularly enjoyed Neil Diamond concerts. He cherished Dean Baptist Church, where he first gave his life to Jesus at the age of 7, and where he served on the Cemetery Committee in his later years.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on January 31, 2026 at Dean Baptist Church, Tyler, TX. Dean Baptist Church is located at 11567 County Rd 1141, Tyler, TX 75709.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Dean Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice in honor of Ronald Clark.
