Ronald Dale Craig, of Medora passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of September 2, 2025. He was 77 years old.

Ron entered this life on January 4, 1948, in Seymour Indiana. He was the third child born to Samuel Craig and Viola (Boling) Martin. He was the brother to Dennis, Thelma, and Joe.

Ron grew up in Brownstown and graduated from Brownstown Central High School and later moved to Medora. He became a farmer and ran The Old Martin Place.

As a family man, he was a devoted husband to Anna Long Craig, who he was united in marriage to on July 6, 1991. He was a loving father to Ron, Tim, Terry, and Jessica, and Papaw to Aaron, Chance, Logan and Everett

Ron was a proud member of AA with over 25 years of sobriety. He used his experience to help others and would often give his testimony to those who would listen. He would often take his AA ministry to prisons and group outings. Ron was called to share his testimony to help inspire others with their struggles.

He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church of Seymour.

Ron's story will live on with his family, wife of over 34 years, Anna Craig of Medora, his children, Ron Craig II of Medora, Tim Craig and his wife Hanh of Seymour, Terry Craig and his wife Susan of Seymour, and Jessica Bowman and her husband Tyler of Vallonia, grandchildren, Aaron Craig and his fiancé Taylor, Chance Craig, Logan Craig, Everett Bowman, and one on the way, Wyatt. His brothers, Joe Craig of Paris Crossing, Dennis Craig of Vallonia, and sister Thelma Weaver of Brownstown.

He was preceded by his father Samuel Craig, mother Viola Martin and stepfather Walter "Dutch" Martin, and brother-in-law Carol Weaver.

Visitation will be at Trinity Methodist Church of Seymour starting at 3:30 pm until time of the Ron's celebration.

A Celebration of Ron's life will be conducted on Saturday September 13, 2025, at 5:00 pm at Trinity Methodist Church with Pastor Angel Armstrong officiating.

Burial will be Weddleville Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be written in Ron's name to Trinity Methodist Church

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Hague & Zabel Funeral Homes.
