Ronnie Cunningham, 68, passed away unexpectedly at home from heart complications on April 19th, 2024.
Ronnie will be remembered for his passion for Nascar, the beach, and basketball which he holds the record at Eagleville High School for most points scored in a single game before the three-point line, 42 points. He loved being outside and working in the yard, for many years he was the host of the Redneck Round up.
He loved his three sons and two grandsons which brought so much joy and fulfillment to his life. His legacy lives on through the memories shared and the love he infused into everything he cherished. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by parents Edward "Buck" and Sarah Cunningham, Sr.; brothers Eddie Thurman Cunningham Jr., Kenny Cunningham, and Tony Cunningham.
Survived by wife of 46 yrs., Linda Goad Cunningham; sons Ronald David (Breanna) Cunningham Jr., Stephen Glenn (Deanna) Cunningham, and Adam Lee (Samantha Jarrell) Cunningham; grandchildren Grayson Glenn Cunningham and Garrison James Cunningham; brothers Terry Cunningham and Darrell Cunningham; sister-in-law Elaine Cunningham; many nieces and nephews that he loved so much.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, April 23, 2024 and 11:00am-1:00pm Wednesday, April 24, 2024 with the funeral service at 1:00pm.
in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's, local animal shelters, or youth basketball programs.
