Ronald L. Dirck, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 6:40 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Paddock Springs in Warsaw.

Lifetime Warsaw, Indiana resident, Ron was born on December 20, 1940 to Alden S. and Zazel May (Clark) Dirck.

In his early teens, Ron was taking dancing lessons and there a young girl caught his eye and they were inseparable ever since. He would take as his wife, Nancy C. Linn, on June 18, 1965 in the First Christian Church in Warsaw. They would welcome four sons.

Ron, like his dad, Alden, could invent things, generally from metal, and end up with very creative projects. He started out his working career making cages for veterinary clinics with his dad. He then had the idea of putting the cage system into vans so the concept could be used by Law Enforcement, Border Patrol, ATF and so on. Ron made his thought reality by owning and operating Mavron, Inc. with his wife since 1973 that specializes in animal and prisoner transport vehicle conversions.

Being an involved member of his local community, Ron was on the volunteer fire department, a reserve officer for the sheriff’s department, a board member of the Animal Welfare League and on the Board of Zoning. He was a member of the Noon Lion’s Club, the Elks Lodge and a 50-year member of the Moose Lodge, where Ron and Nancy enjoyed spending many evenings dancing the night away.

The couple bought a house on Fort Myers Beach and Ron remodeled it from the ground up. They spend lots of time in Plant City, Florida and loved taking cruises. He was truly loved by his family and treasured memories made with them.

Ron is dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Nancy, of Warsaw and their children: Sheal Dirck of Warsaw, Troy (Jo) Dirck of Warsaw and Kristin (Amy) of the Philippines; grandchildren: Dane (Tetiana) Dirck, Ashley (Mitch) Miller, Josh Dirck, Brandi (Daemon) Aldrich and Kalie Dirck; step-grandchildren: Ashley (Josh) Crawford and Hannah (Aaron) Julian; and great-grandchildren: Jack, Anastatia, Finn, Blaze, Palmer, Saylah, Hendrick, Hayden, Hudsen, Brielle, Brynnley, Rhett and Kashtyn. Also surviving is his sister, Lynn (Keith) Pagel of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Dirck, his parents and his sisters, Beverly Chaney and Patricia Shaske.

Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 11-1 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. No formal services will follow.

He will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.

Memorial contributions can be made to Animal Welfare League, 1048 S. 325 E., Pierceton, IN 46562.
