Ronald Earl Domis

Ronald Earl Domis, Age 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Canonsburg, PA, on October 10, 2021. He was born in 1952 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Edwin J. and Dorothy M. (Myer) Domis. Ron graduated from Bethel Park H.S. in 1970 and Penn State University in 1974, with a B.S. Degree in Community Development. After graduation, he served as a VISTA Volunteer assisting local community members and at risk youth on the North Side of Pittsburgh. Following VISTA, he began a career at the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Adult Probation Office as a probation officer, where he worked until his retirement as a manager. On September 22, 1984 he married the love of his life, Deborah.
From a young age, Ron enjoyed golf with his family and friends. An avid Penn State football fan, he held season tickets for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling, especially to the Outer Banks, the Carolinas and Florida.
Left to honor his life is his beloved wife, of 37 years, Deborah, and 5 siblings, Richard (Jamie), Robert, Deborah (Dennis) Abriola, Donna (Richard) Caruso and Diane. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews; In-laws Rose and Joe, Sister-in-law Brenda and his cherished rescued yorkies, Spanky, Benny, Bailey and Bentley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Dorothy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to the Beaver County Humane Society (beavercountyhumanesociety.org), Angels for Animals (angelsforanimals.com) and Rescue me Yorkie Rescue (yorkierescueme.com).
