Ronald Rex "Ron" Dotson

RONALD "RON" REX DOTSON passed quietly on August 7, 2024. Ron was born October 8, 1945, in Dixon, Tennessee. He grew up and lived most of his life in the Beechmont Neighborhood of South Louisville. Most of Ron's working career was spent at trucking companies in and around Louisville. He loved walking at Iroquois Park, working in his garden, naps, "windshield time," classical guitar music, baseball, his family & pets and a few other lucky people. He was preceded in death by his father Luther Nolan Dotson and mother Edith Baker Dotson. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Alt Dotson; son, Noel Dotson (Tina) and daughter, Heather Dotson(Tim Anderson). Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 2-5 pm at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
