Philip Arthur "Buddy" Passafiume

Philip "Buddy" Arthur Passafiume, 64, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
He was born on August 10, 1960 in Louisville to the late Anelle Suhre Passafiume and Philip Sebastian Passafiume, Jr.
He was a 1978 graduate of St. Xavier High School and graduated from Bellarmine University with a degree in Biology. He worked various jobs with his last being a delivery driver for Jimmy Johns. He loved to read, play guitar, golf, fish, bowl, working any type of puzzles, and playing pool. He was known as the "King of Trivia", and enjoyed tending to his dad's tomatoes. He enjoyed Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and watching animated series. But above all else, he loved his wife and children.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Passafiume; and infant brother, Stephen Passafiume.
He is survived by his daughter, Madison Smith (Shawn); sons, Philip Passafiume (Tiffany Boone) and Dylan Merz (Jecca); siblings, Regina Dicken (Jim), Laura Koch, and Kirk Passafiume; grandchildren, Selena Lily Smith, Charlotte Rose Mary Smith, Shawn Eric Smith, II, Cameron Toohey, Karmyn Toohey, River Merz, and Veda Merz; nieces and nephews, Andy Dicken, Katie Pearson (Alex), Becky Koch, and Kelly Cooper (Logan); great niece, Willa Pearson; great nephew, Ellis Pearson; other loving family members and friends.
His visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Hwy. with a celebration of life and sharing of memories to begin at 5 p.m.
